Oriel Sol3A solar simulators use a single lamp design to meet Class A requirements for not one or two, but all three performance criteria without compromising their 1 SUN output power. By convention, Class AAA is reported with the first letter representing Spectral performance, the second letter Uniformity of Irradiance, and the third letter Temporal Stability. Sol3A solar simulators are certified to Class AAA for all three of the following standards: IEC 60904-9 Edition 2 (2007), JIS C 8912, and ASTM E 927-10.
- Factory certified Class AAA CW solar simulators
- Includes Class AAA calibration certificate for IEC, ASTM and JIS
- 2x2, 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 or 12x12 inch output beam
- Variable attenuator for 0.1 to 1.0 SUN output
- Temperature sensors and interlocks ensure operator safety
- Long-lived, highly reliable instrument for 24/7 production environments
LCS-100 solar simulators are intended for researchers requiring the performance of a certified system over a small area of illumination. These 1.5 x 1.5 inch (38 x 38 mm) Simulators meet Class ABB as defined by the ASTM and IEC standards.
- Low cost alternative for PV cell research requiring small area of illumination
- Standards compliant to ASTM & IEC for AM1.5G operation at 1.0 sun output
- Compact design - integrated power supply, ignitor, homogenizer and lamp housing
- Simple, drop-in lamp assembly requires no lamp alignment
- Integrated 2 inch filter holder
