Optical Mounting Posts

Optical Mounting Posts are precision ground 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) diameter stainless steel posts with two standard sized holes tapped into each end. Each post is supplied with a 8-32 (or M4) double-ended set screw.

Optical Post Holders

No slip optical post holders provide a continuously adjustable height to standard optical rods with the addition of a spring-loaded, break-shoe design to prevent slipping while making adjustments.

•  - Brake-shoe clamp for no-slip operation
•  - Compatible with 0.5 in. optical posts
•  - Locked in place by either hand knob or Allen wrench

Optical Post Assemblies

These heavy-duty optical posts are made of 1.5 in. diameter steel tubing to support mounted components with the highest rigidity, while mounting to bases and optical tables with pedestal clamps for the most versatile and accommodating positioning. Specially constructed versions are available for vibration dampening and higher frequency resonances for high sensitivity measurements.
